As you all know, we've been house hunting for a while, and nothing ever felt like the place I would call "home"- but, we found a house...not too long ago, we were driving around neighborhoods we like, and stumbled across it. And I looked at it and told my husband "I feel like this is it" - and he looked at me and said "You know, me too" - which is odd because we have opposite tastes in houses!
So anyway, I went to look at it with our realtor while he was working and said if it was something I thought he'd like/would be good for us, Id have him go back the next day. Which is what he did and he fell in love with it. *which is saying alot because he is very lukewarm about everything. LOL
So, we've put in an offer and after a counter from the owners and another counter from us - they have accepted the final offer.
Yesterday, I had the house inspected, and he came up with a few (minor) issues. DH and I came up with a new figure this morning, the owners accepted and we're on our way! Contracts are being done up and sent to our attorney...holy smokes this is exciting!
So exciting! Fingers crossed that everything works out!!
