Non-clicky poll: online reviews
How much stock do you put in online reviews on sites like Amazon, Overstock, etc.?
Obviously there will be that one person just he!!-bent on complaining because they didn't get what they wanted for 20% of what it's worth, but does one honestly bad review steer you away from something? Or do you take the overall average as your indicator?

I go with the average usually but I also read the bad reviews and base my decision on what they say. Maybe most of the bad reviews say "hard to put together" or "not very good quality." Well if I'm just looking for something cheap to serve a purpose, I may get it anyway. It totally depends on what I'm looking for.
I do usually narrow my search to 4 stars and above though.
