Wow, I wrote a whole post and the nest ate it. Let me try to reconstruct.
First, thank you all again for the kind thoughts this morning. I pulled up the post on my phone before I went into surgery and it made me smile. The surgery went well and everyone was really, really nice. My doctor answered a lot of my questions which alleviated a lot of concerns. We sent tissue for chromosome analysis to see if we can figure out why my baby's heart stopped beating at 10 weeks, and to see if there's a reason (besides bad luck with statistics) that this has happened twice in a row. At my 2 week follow up, we'll do blood work on me to look for possible causes of recurrent miscarriages, and I'll take baby aspirin every day when we start TTC again, and possibly go on lovenox (blood thinning shots) as well. So Ty and I at least feel like my doctor is being very proactive in figuring out why this happened again and what we can do about it, if anything.
After several hours, we got to come home and I found two things on my door step: a bouquet of flowers signed by "The Niners" and my very own 4-pack of Killer Brownies. Thank you, especially Ames, Stees, Nooner and MB, SO very much for these generous gifts. They made me cry (moderately happy tears) when I saw them.
Words cannot express how much I've appreciated everyone's kindness and support over the last year. You are all amazing and wonderful ladies, and I truly appreciate the friendships I have found here. <insert obligatory puppies, rainbows, cake and unicorns here> ;-)
And now, a picture of my fat loot, sitting on my ancient washing machine:

Re: OMG you guys!
Yay! I'm glad your doctor is taking a proactive approach to your recent loss. I know it doesn't fix everything but at least you get some security that things will get better.
Again, I'm so sorry and I hope you feel better soon!. More hugs!

We love you and are glad to cheer you up in any way possible!
Stand up for something you believe in.

My doctor is amazing and I love him to pieces. He even gave me a big hug yesterday, and this morning I could see the pain on his face. If anyone can get me to stay pregnant, I believe it's him.
And Ames, those brownies will change your life!
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
In working such odd hours the past week I missed your original post...
I am so sorry, sweetie. Stay strong and know that we are all here for you whenever you need us. I'm glad that your doctor is taking a proactive approach. Stay positive.
I'm thinking of you tonight.
You survived the day, and may I say, you are probably one of the bravest women I know. I can't imagine the pain you must be feeling, but it is great to hear you stay optimistic and feel positive about working with your doctor to get pregnant again and stay pregnant, dammit! Your day will come!
