Any unpopular thoughts today, ladies??
I'll start---I'm so sick of hearing about the Tulsa tower guy or whatever they're calling him. I'm glad they got him down safely but really--I've had enough.
Re: UO's
The tulsa tower guy? Huh?

^^^This whole thing sounds fishy to me. Should the officer have had s.ex with the citizen? No. Did he exercise good judgement? No. Do I think he raped her? No. Do I think she is trying to cash in on this? You bet.
I agree with the above. It's also disgusting b/c he's married, but probably not for long. So gross!!
Based on the legal definition of second degree rape, it sounds like that the charge of second degree rape he received was the appropriate charge for him, consensual or not. Taken from here:
[Third, where the victim was under the legal custody of a State agency; and
Fourth, the victim engaged in sexual intercourse with a (State employee)/(employee of a contractor of the State)].And one more thing... why do they go to the trouble of blacking out the victim's initials on the affidavit when you can clearly see through it? So much for confidentiality.
Just for you...

I think Gwyneth Paltrow is trying way to hard to be liked. First, no matter what she thinks about herself, she has a stick stuck up somewhere. Second off, being "friends" with Beyonce and JayZ does not make her cool or not have a stick stuck up somewhere. Lastly, she can't really sing and no matter what she thinks, she is NOT an entertainer.
The end.
I'm SO sick of the climate of anti-intellectualism among some of the legislators in this state. Being well educated is NOT a bad thing. Studying hard is NOT a bad thing. Reaping a reasonable degree of rewards for pursuing higher education is NOT a bad thing. For example, maybe, just maybe, it'd be ok if the person who teaches your child how to read earns more than guy who installs your cable.
Just like being a "self made man/woman who dropped out of high school" is something to be praised, so is being a successful person who got there through more conventional means. And, guess what? If you want to hire and retain the best people, you're going to have to give them a cost of living increase, at the very least, every 10 years or so
I'm lookin' at you, Rep. ?It is time for the Legislature to rein in the elitist, higher education establishment in Oklahoma? Tom Newell...
I
you.
Ditto... spread the love for this one.
