food suggestions for a bday party
K's 2nd birthday is coming up and we are having a small party on labor day weekend (about 15 people, one infant, K and a 4 year old). Last year we did a whole BBQ thing but I feel like doing something a little different. I thought about making a couple of skirt steaks and slicing them up, chicken nuggets for the kids, baking a bunch of baked potatoes and having a potato bar, maybe a pasta dish, garden salad, etc, but nothing is really all that exciting. Any suggestions? Would be like early afternoon.
Re: food suggestions for a bday party
i like this idea! they have cute 1/2 price items off at party city now. i love the potato bar idea but think it might be a little heavy (food wise). a fajita or taco bar would be cute!
Hello. I've waited here for you. Everlong<3<br>
Love the fajita or taco bar idea - so simple and fun! However, most of our family, both sides, wouldn't eat it since they consider it too spicy - lol! we tried a taco/quesadilla get together a few months ago - the younger generation loved it, and i knew to make some plain chicken for the quesadillas for the older crowd - bland was a better option for them.
are you making any sort of theme like for the cake that might inspire food?
you are a thinkier!!!
