Lets play a game

Because I'm at my newly engaged friend's house baby sitting her new puppy and looking through her stack of wedding magazines as tall as my son, I've got wedding on the brain...

so here is the game...

post a bunch of pictures of how you would want your wedding to look like if you weren't allowed to choose anything over again (dress, colors etc.) and you had unlimited funds... and GO!

You mean were, right? Or is this like, if your H planned the wedding... lol

  • I would play if I wasn't procrastinating making dinner and if I knew how to PIP.

Liz H's book recommendations, liked quotes, book clubs, book trivia, book lists (read shelf)
  • That's a loaded question!!!

I would change it to an outdoor reception with a tent. I can't find a picture of what I would do.

Similar to this, but of course in my colors. With lots of little lights!  I'm not sure what I would do different about colors.. I liked what I had, a pinky coral with light pink and chocolate brown. I would probably do brown tuxes for the guys though.

I could be wrong, but I think she means you can't re-choose anything you had at your wedding, like you have to come up with new ideas/details. I would play, but I can't PIP on my iPad and my laptop annoys me...

  • I'd have Kate Middleton's wedding.  From the dress to the cathedral, yes, even the groom.

  • I"d have it in Beaver Stadium (Penn State's football stadium).  It's a pretty space and you can look out on the field.  sigh..that way my dream.

  • DH and I have both said that if we were to do it all again, we would elope and throw a huge a$$ party when we got home and use the extra money to do more travelling or put it towards our house or something practical.  While our wedding was great, I often think it wasn't worth the stress or expense for that one day.

Agreed! I'd do it again -- but invite a third of the number of people! That's my biggest regret - I wish I had a smaller wedding!

Small, overlooking the beach (but not in the sand)

  • Can't pip from my iPad, but I'd do the reception totally different... Better location, like maybe outdoors or a hotel. I also wouldnt have minded a small chapel wedding. There's this awesome tiny chapel in a park nearby that I think would have been really romantic.
