The Carrie Diaries is being made into a TV show it looks like and they were speculating in this article who should play Carrie.

I could possibly get on board with this show. It would definately depend on the cast. NO on the Blake Lively thing though. Isn't she really tall? Carrie is NOT tall. How does that work? Did she shrink when she hit 25?
IDK, Maybe it's just because I've seen movies with SJP in her teens, but that seems like a terrible casting move.
I can't imagine Blake Lively wanting to play a high school senior and I can't see anything about Lea Michele that is anything like Carrie Bradshaw. I could possibly see Emma Roberts in the role.
I don't really care if the actress looks like SJP, but I think they should cast an unknown.
I don't think Blake is a good fit either but I think she'd take the role. A HS senior, yes, but it's Carrie Bradshaw! lol (I don't know how old she is... how old was she when she started as a sophomore on Gossip Girl?)
And Lea Michele???

Whenever I think of a young SJP I think of the movie "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" such cheesy goodness!!
