I just wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten about making the crib skirt for you! Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you about this!
The pattern for the skirt that I have is simplicity pattern #3795. Here is a picture of it.

And here is a picture of the skirt that I made.

It seems like you mentioned that your crib is a strange height (or maybe I dreamed that...). I just measured my skirt and the finished length is about 12 1/2 inches. Mine worked on the crib on the higher 2 settings, but now that I have the crib lowered all the way I had to take the skirt off because it drags on the ground and just looks strange.
If you want me to make this one for you and you want to buy the fabric you need 3 yards of the fabric you want for the top stripe, 3/4 of a yard for the middle stripe, and 2 yards for the bottom stripe.
Let me know how you want to do this...or if you've already gotten this taken care of because you hadn't heard back from me!
Re: ***Nicole***
Hey! I figured you were busy with Sam's surgery and getting back into the swing of things...no worries! So if you're still willing to do it, I'd love for you to do it!
My crib skirt would probably need to be longer though. The bottom of the front rail has a thick base (the crib in the pic above looks like it's only about an inch or so for the horizontal rail, whereas our crib is probably 5 or 6 inches), so when the mattress is on the highest setting, most crib skirts are barely visible. How much extra fabric would you need for this adjustment?
I'm thinking the top and bottom will be the same fabric, with the middle stripe something different.
Also, let me know how much you'd charge for doing this! Thank you
I know what you mean about the crib in the picture being so different than actual cribs. If you go to my facebook and look at the album of Baby K's nursery you can kinda see what the skirt looked like on Marshall's crib.
The skirt didn't come all the way to the ground with the mattress in the highest setting and you couldn't really see the middle stripe very much, but it worked. I would just worry that if I make it too much longer then it will ONLY work on the highest setting and not at all on the middle or lower setting. But it's totally up to you.
I remember when I made my skirt that I had plenty of fabric left over, so I don't think I would really need any extra.
Did you want to buy the fabric and just mail it to me? Don't worry about paying me...it's giving me a reason to get my sewing machine out!
Here are the pictures I was talking about on facebook.
Your crib is more similar than mine, but if you could maybe make it an extra 1-2 inches longer, maybe?
Yeah, I'll go buy the fabric and mail it out to you. I'll go this weekend and mail it out next week.
Thanks again!
