Hi ladies! I've been lurking a lot lately but as some of you know H has been waiting to start TBS and has been commissioned since late last year.
Time has been quickly approaching for TBS and moving to VA but H has been getting nervous that he doesn't have orders yet. He had some issues with the last Captain and sort of felt that there was a chance something might go wrong (long story).
So he went in yesterday to check in with the new Captain, just to say hi, etc. and the Captain told H that there is no budget for fiscal year 12, so they may not have a TBS at all...and if they do he probably will have a week, maybe two notice....
We're trying not to worry, I know it's all about hurry up and wait and H is getting very impatient and a little worried. One of our friends told us the budget stuff is just a issue now but more than likely will be resolved soon and there will be a TBS and it will be fine.
Is anyone else seeing things delayed like this? H is just very nervous because he thinks the MC is shrinking and they don't need as many officers so they might start eliminating some. I don't know what to say to him to make him feel better so I don't know if anyone can give me a little more perspective on the situation but if you can, thanks!
