As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Free Day Off
Got into work before 7:30 (normal for me). Started to do some stuff, catch up on here, quick look on facebook, get files ready to do work, check email, update myfitnesspal with my food from last night. Then microsoft virus thing came up and found some stuff in OLD directories. Then firefox closed. Blue Screen. Hard reboot. Would not boot, not even in blue screen.
I think it is a hard drive failure.
Anyways, IT was not in yet (was almost 8). Called and left a message. Walked over 3 buildings to check, they were definitely not in.
So the choices were to twiddle my thumbs and look at the window, distract everyone trying to get work done, or come home. Chose to come home. Better for me not to distract everyone. And the worst thing is that I needed to get things done today and am very interested in it and wanted to do it. Ugh.
Left IT with my cell so hopefully they will call me and let me know what is going on.
Having some coffee and watching Teen Mom. Going to do some cleaning then think I may go walk around the mall and look for fall clothing for me and Evie. She will end up with more than me (but she is in between sizes and don't know what size to get her, my 19 lb 30 inch 1 year old)......
Re: Free Day Off
I'm jealous! I could use a free day off with everything we have going on at our new house, and the move tomorrow. I am taking a half day, though, so I cannot complain much.
Nora is difficult to buy clothing for, too. She is still wearing 6-9 month stuff and we are just a few weeks away from her birthday! People have been asking me her sizes for clothing for birthday presents, and I have been telling them to buy her 12 months size for fall clothing, and 12-18 month for winter. I hope that'll work! I think she's about 18 lbs right now...
