Friday weight loss check in

How was the past week for everyone?

I'm down 2 pounds!  I haven't been strictly tracking calories because I can get a little too obsessive about it, but will probably start if/when I hit a plateau.  I've been giving myself 2ish free-for-all/cheat meals a week, and those are a nice break.

  • It's still on my to-do to begin this weight loss task.  Lol!  So no loss, no gain, I'm in a big old plateau until I kick it into gear.
  • I weighed yesterday and I am down 6 pounds in 2 1/2 weeks. Only 100 more to go....or something like that! :)

     It is also on my to-do list. We had a celebratory going to school week with Maren and I ate everything in sight...

  • Down 1.5, but I haven't been trying like I was.  I know this weekend is going to be a bad food extravaganza so I'm planning on getting back into it on Monday.

  • Nothing for me. 

    I need to get motivated to workout, I go back to work for real in 3 weeks and can't fit into most of my shirts. 

    And eat better.  Darn ice cream, chips and alcohol anyway.

  • Well yesterday morning I was down 2 lbs but then last night DH said "Oh DQ has buy 1 get 1 half off blizzards." sonofabitch you are ruining my diet! Hopefully still have a weightloss come tomorrow morning. I ran 1.5 miles on the treadmill last night...hopefully that burned off 1 or 2 bites of the yummy snickers blizzard.

  • I'm down 1.8...but that's still up from my lowest post-Ruby weight.  *sigh*

    I suck at entering points.  I wish there was an app for my phone.  I'm just trying to reach for fruit when I'm hungry and I cut out my nightly bowl of ice cream after the kids are in bed.  I really need to work out.  The treadmill is SO BORING, though.

    Awe, thanks...I'm having a rough day and you just made me tear up.

    The best thing is when people start to notice.  I know I don't always notice that I look different, we are our biggest critics.  Keep up the good work.  I always use that as motivation as I'm staring at my elliptical thinking, "I'm really tired tonight..."

  • I'm flat from last week, but after an "OMG, eat everything in site" week-endish, I'm happy to at least be where I was last week and not up 5 pounds.  Seriously.  So, this next week I'm going to work on eating right again and hopefully be down next week.  I want to get to my goal, dang it!
