Re: Crazy News story
Freakin' crap hospital/docs. Seriously.
In fairness, everyone's body's different and 8wks is early and weird things can happen. BUT why the hell wouldn't they monitor her hormone level (via blood test) to be sure things were as they feared/assumed?
Having taken the wonderful meds, I can assure you it took weeks of blood samples before they could properly diagnose the problem. While the uncertainty and physical symptoms weren't pleasant during the wait, it certainly was necessary to be sure.
I wonder if she was (unknowingly) pregnant with twins and miscarried one. That's the only possible excuse (although still not acceptable). I'm so glad she didn't take those pills!
I knew a lady who was pregnant with twins and miscarried only one. She gave birth the same day as me.
And recently a high school classmate announced very early on FB like 6 weeks that she was pregs...then 2 weeks later announced she had mc'd then the other day announced that she was pregnant and very far along. They said as she was miscarrying she concieved again however I've been doing calculations and not sure how that happened. I think she ovulated twice once later and once stuck.
Very crazy but glad she didn't do it!
