Since we're Aw-ing...Updated pic of Avery :)
I completely forgot to post the picture I used as Avery's birth announcement.
She was a little over 3 weeks old when it was taken...best part? I received more than a few calls from friends and relatives asking me if it was my husband who was holding her.
HUH? Who else would it be?! LOLOL

...here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
I carry your heart(I carry it in my heart)

Thanks so much everyone!
Thats EXACTLY my favorite part about the picture too. The shock on her face. Hilarious.
She has been that alert since day 1. Honestly. This is the only newborn that doesnt sleep a million hours a day (she sleeps great at night) instead, always big eyed like "Okay, where are we going now?"
RE: DH Holding her - EXACTLY! I mean, the amount of people that asked me that question - it was really hilarious to me, then I was concerned wondering how many brain cells they really have. LOL
