work related dilemma
so i have an interview at my organization that is with another dept. Its a medium sized org (about 40 workers) but everybody is fairly close, esp those with full-time positions.
Do I need to inform my manager that I am interviewing the this position or is it ok to keep it quiet? I have a feeling she may already know, so would that look badly that im not giving her a heads up. Im not that close with her, but have worked with in her dept for a year, she was assistant manager and recently promoted.
