Hi everyone! It has been quite a while since I've posted here (I was here for a bit when the board was first created).
I've been getting back into crafting in the last year and I want to try my hand at something like this
Now I get how to do it and everything, I was just wondering if there are certain papers/inks to avoid?
Also, if anyone has any kind of adhesive they prefer (I've heard Diamond Glaze is good but the stores near me don't sell it), I'd love to hear about that as well.
Re: Ring Q
I've made cufflinks similar to this using Easy Cast Resin that I purchased from Michaels. I printed my image using an inkjet printer and made sure to coat it pretty well with mod podge and didn't have any issues with the ink running.
I have heard that diamond glaze was a much easier way to go, though and plan on trying that if/when I make this sort of thing again.

Funkeh-P! Check out the Mod Podge's Dimensional Magic (I got mine at Joanns). You could also try the Resin as well, but the Dimensional Magic is way easier to work w/ and is just like Diamond Glaze.
ETA: I've read you really can't use inkjet printed images b/c the ink runs and should use a laser printer or get it printed at Kinko's or office supply store. I'm not sure about printed pictures tho.

Hey!!
Thanks for the rec!
I've heard the same about inkjet, I'll probably give it a try JIC but won't be too bummed if it doesn't work.
