    in dreading this baby shower tomorrow, it's gotten me thinking...i have a feeling when we decide to have kids, the baby shower i have will NOT be anywhere near as creative and well-executed as i'd like it to be.

    i love my friends, but i know i'm the only one who loves party design blogs on the internet, so they'll get amazing ones (because i'll do it up)...and i won't.

    I just let my cat entertain my daughter for the past 20 minutes while I prepped dinner, and now get a little nesting in. She has been following him around, throwing a tennis ball at him, laughing, and shrieking. I think he has been thoroughly traumatized. I suppose I should go save him...

    I went out with a new group of ladies this week at a restaurant. They were nice for the most part but those skinny biotches only ordered wine...at dinnertime. I felt too weird to order food when no one else was eating so at 9 pm when we left the restaurant, I went and picked up a bunch of tacos to scarf down on the way home. This girl likes to eat and I don't know if I can hang with those that don't.

    valid point. i meant my LOCAL friends. not my obviously much more fashionable and stylish ATL friends, who will probably figure out a way to have a badass shower WITH plenty of booze for the non-preggos.
