Did we do a post your pets?
I love mine so much. Even their stinky dog breath. I would have 10 million Brussels Griffons if it was socially acceptable. Pefe ( Pee Fee ) or officially Roscoe P. Coltrane is my little one full of personality.
My big one "Xanthe" is 12 years young. She lost 20 lbs over the past 2 years and sheds like nothing I have ever seen. She loves Carrots and will eat anything. Including charcoal.
I also have a kitty - "Bella" who I don't have a photo of here. Boo. She is 17 now and healthy as a horse. But she's kind of a meanie with a penchant for digging thru people's purses.
Show me yours? I apologize if we already did this - I just can't remember in my old age.
Re: RE: Speaking of Puppies
I don't have any pets but I did want to say that I love that your dog is named Roscoe P. Coltrane! Hahah!
MH and I have said that if we were to ever have a dog, we'd probably name him Anderson Pooper
We recently adopted a 2nd dog (from one of the local knotties, actually.)
The black one is our baby. He's Puckett, about a year and a half old. We adopted him last May when hew as 8 weeks old. He's a good 65 pounds now (Humane Society guessed he'd be about 45. oops.) He's a husky/Golden mix and is probably the most independent dog ever.
The tan one is Levi, who we adopted two weeks ago. He's about 8 months old and he's a husky/shepherd mix. He's already a good 50 pounds, but he's so thin! I'm sure he'll end up taller than Puck eventually. He's probably the biggest cuddelbug ever. I love it, and his big huge ears.

Cute! Look at Levi's ears
I've noticed that the weight seems to stay off until about 3-4 years on my friend's dogs who have husky mixes. Then they finally flesh out. I love having 2 dogs since they seem to entertain each other and huskies have soooo much energy. Looks like they get along.
I love Anderson Pooper - that's awesome. I have a backstock of dog names for my next few. Unfortunately I am only allowed 3 pets at a time.
Hahaha... is that a Colbert reference?
Lol...
My dh is not a pet person, so we'll likely never have a dog. However, my sister has a fantastic Catahoula mix that I can love vicariously haha. She is very smart, was trained by the police as a guard dog, yet is soooooooo affectionate. I've never been around a dog who is as cuddly as her (just don't make her think you're an intruder or she'll bite your face off).
ETA: forgot to mention that their dog's name is Coco Chanel. She's quite the dainty lady who likes her space clean (even if, again, she's capable of biting your face off).
Steph - I love the pic of your two dogs that looks like they're hugging! How cute!
These are our two dogs. We each brought one into the marriage. His is the blue heeler on the left, Tabasco. Mine is the white mutt on the right, Marge. They are our babies. Spoiled rotten and very cuddly! They took to each other pretty quickly and get along just like brother and sister. This pic is from one of the many road trips between Houston and Fort Worth we did before H&I were married. We didn't have the heart to split them apart once they met, so they have been living together longer than H&I have!
