Vent update
Well I got an email from my mom this morning, the said they would give us the 100$ for the rest of the ticket. Dh just didnt want to fork out more then his hockey would be. We get PFD's [no not personal floatation devices... Permmanent Fund Dividends.. ] and they are always over 1000$, we got some to play with and the rest we save. Thats what we pay for hockey with and thats whats paying for the big chunk of the trip. So we get to go see my parents... And for the rest of the vent I plan on tryig the chore chart thing, maybe I could do sex instead of stickers... for so much help he gets sex not stickers as a reward:) bahahahah But then that means I would have to have sex dammit:)

SO glad to hear you found some solutions to get you to visit your folks! That's great news!
And.. I know you're only joking, but keep sex away from this... I think that ends up only complicating marriages (and it happens) -- lots of times you hear that the husband uses money as control in the marriage, and wives turn around to try and gain control through determining when sex occurs and uses it as a weapon, either for good or for evil. Quite frankly, both should should be partnerships!
