Bad news, ladies...
It looks like in a couple of weeks you're not going to be seeing as much of me, because I'll be busy at my new job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a crazy two days this has been. Apparently firm #1 found out that I was interviewing at firm #2, so they wanted to bring me in to make me an offer before I wasn't available anymore (note - should have made the offer the FIRST time, jerks). They made me an offer on the spot to be making the same as I am making now, with the potential to re-evaluate for an increase in 90 days.
This morning I still went to #2 with an open mind. It went great, and I informed them that I had another offer and they were expecting an answer soon. They told me they would let me know either way by the end of the day, and I ended up getting a call 20 short minutes later with an offer fo $20K more than the other. (!!!!!)
DH's firm is right across the street from #2, so I was there talking to him when I got the offer. I spoke to some of his co-workers who all agreed that #2 is much more respected, plus it's way more money.
So, I am calling back after lunch to formally accept, and then I will put in my notice here by the end of the day. AMAZEBALLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't thank you all enough for your thoughts, vibes, condolensces, etc. through this whole process. I know it's not as emotionally draining as having difficulty TTC and other serious things, but you all were so there for me all the same. I heart you!
