How is your new little family unit doing? The first month or so (for me at least) is always "survival mode". I've barely left the house, live in yoga pants & tanks and have watched enough animal hoarding marathons for a whole year! LOL I'm a bit intimidated to leave the house by myself with both of them. First I have nowhere really to go, and 2nd my daughter has begun temper tantrums (sick timing, kid).
How is that sweet Triston doing? BTW I think he looks like you :-)
Re: *babybchbum*
We are doing well, getting adjusted to being a family of 3. H goes back to work Sunday, so we will see how 10 hours alone with Triston goes. I'm sure it will be fine, but man have I been enjoying my naps in the morning when H gets up and takes Triston with him. lol
I am still in recovery mode and sore. I've been trying to wean myself off the Advil but that probably won't be happening for a while. I've been pushing my limits and then regretting it b/c of the discomfort. I'm living in cheerleading shorts and tanks unless we have to go out for a Dr appointment. H and I went on a lunch date yesterday before an appointment and T slept the whole time. It was nice to get out of the house, but don't know how often that will happen when I am on my own.
Triston is doing well, he is eating like a champ and sleeping in 4 hours spurts at night. He has also become the master of peeing out his diaper. lol I couldn't imagine how in love I would be and how happy I am to have my little man. He has been such an easy baby this far, I just hope he keeps it up once I return to work as well.
How are you and Jax doing? Besides Miss A starting tantrums how is she doing?

I hope you are recovered very soon, every day should get better. For what it's worth, Jax pees out his diaper too. It's always up his left side somehow. I've since started making his diapers a bit tighter but not too tight, seems to help.
Now that I have two, I realize how EASY it was with just one, haha. Don't let anything hinder you, especially now since he sleeps so much - doing things out of the house is super easy. I just make sure J has a full belly before we leave, and will do the same when I'm on my own.
I'm doing great, and Jax is doing great too. He's really an awesome, laid back little baby. Very low-maintenance which I am not used to at all. Hoping it stays this way. Ava remains high-maintenance, lol. I'm hoping it's just a phase.
It's a girl thing, isn't it? I'm scared
I laughed when I saw this because, yep, my 16 month old is high maintenance too! My son.... totally chill. LOL
Girls are soooo fun but rest up!
My parents would probably tell you otherwise. lol One of my nick names growing up was HM (High Maintenance/ Her Majesty) ... good thing Tommy knew what he was getting into when he married me.
I had a follow up with the OB on Wednesday and she said everything looks like it is healing great but expect to be sore for another week or 2 due to the swelling. I have been using the peri bottle all the time and the sitz bath on occasion. Unfortunately she didn't have the notes from the OB who delivered b/c he is out on vacation. I have lots of questions about my delivery but unfortunately those won't get answered until next week when he is back. She also checked out T's circ as well (the whole reason for the follow up) and said the blueness I was seeing (and freaking out about) was normal and just a part of the healing process, that was a huge relief.
How are you feeling after the C-section? I hope Avas tantrums aren't her being jealous, I'm sure she wants to help out a lot too with her baby brother.
Let me know when you are up for an outing. I'd love to get together meet you and the gang as well as have lunch.
Ps. On the video/slideshow you made for Jax (that I bawled hysterically through) what was the song you used? I absolutely loved it.
