As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

company 2k/5k event - success!!
our company has over 800 employees and we have a morale committee with a representative from each department that serves on it. about 3 months ago we came up with the idea to have a 5K race for our employees and then 2 months went by and nothing happened. soooo since i'm known in the group as one that "gets things done" i took the reigns and coordinated it with the assistance of 2 other people and it happened this morning! it's rainy season and it's been especially rainy lately - yesterday it POURED all the way to work and i could barely see out my windshield, so i was just hoping for the best. well, God is good, and the rain held out until the LAST person crossed the finish line!! holy cow, it was seriously perfect timing!!!
we used an ipad stopwatch feature to time the event and it worked perfectly b/c then we were able to email all the finishing scores to my email address - awesome!!
i put in a LOT of time preparing for this event (it's really kept me busy since andrew's been gone!! thats good!!), and i'm glad it's over... yippeee!!
