Baby's Here!
Christian Joseph made his appearance at 6:07 am on Wednesday, August 17th. Water broke at home around 11:00 pm, checked into the hospital at 1, was dilated to 3/4. At 3:30 I couldn't take it anymore and asked for the epidural, at that point I was still a 4, then at 4:30 I was a 7, at 5:30 they thought I might be fully dilated. After 2 practice pushes, they asked me to hold off pushing while they called the doctor in. Doctor arrived at 6, and baby was out with one push by 6:07.
He was 7lbs. 7oz., 19 1/2 inches long, lots of brown hair and brown eyes. Everyone is healthy and resting comfortably at home now. Carson has been a great older brother, very gentle, concerned about baby, and a great mama's helper! I hope that continues!
