If I could only be a kid again...
We went to a birthday party tonight for a friend of DH's daughter (DH is in Rockport catching no fish offshore). The little girl was turning 7 and they had just moved, so we got a tour of the house. She has a dollhouse for her American Girl dolls! The "house" was bigger than I was. It was insane. To give you an idea of the scale, F was riding on the dolls' scooter and it wasn't that ridiculous. What I would have given to have something like that as a kid...
I secretly wanted to clear all the kids out and play with it. It even had hardwood floors and a pull out lawn area.
We need a bigger house. I know my dad can make this thing.

Does he need my dad's plans from the 50s? F keeps asking for a dishwasher....they don't make dishwashers in the 50s!

The plans are so old. He made the oven window a rectangle, but they are still MCM.

I didn't get that when I was a kid. There is STILL a half finished dollhouse in my parents basment (not that I am bitter). I had a cardboard 80s play kitchen. Sigh...
I still have yet to banish the play kitchen to F's room. So bad.
