Copperstown - Recommendations?
Anyone been to Cooperstown and have any recommendations for things to do and places to eat? We are going next weekend and staying right outside of Cooperstown. We are going to go to the Baseball Hall of Fame on Saturday. Any tips are appreciated!! Thank you = )

Ha! My stepson competed at Dreams Park this summer so we were there for a week (well i only went the weekend
).
Not sure where you are staying but in Cooperstown (the main street) there are not that many restaurants. We ate breakfast at Doubleday cafe and it was very good (but no pancakes
) and my hubby ate there a few times after that. There is also a pizza place down there which is pretty good too (name escapes me).
On the way from Main Street (where the HOF is) out to Dreams Park (like where the Holiday inn is) there are a bunch of restaurants. I think most are pretty good.
As I said, there are not many to pick from there.
Things to do...also not that much. I think you can get a boat tour on the lake, there are a few breweries up there if you like those kinds of tours. There is mini golf also. We spent the majority of our time at the field but honestly, there is not alot to do...for a weekend yes, for a week, no.
