TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermHow did you meet YH? We met in a bowling alley right after I got off a cruise. I had just gotten home and one of my good friends at the time invited me to have dinner with her and afterwards we ended up meeting up with some of her friends to go bowling (her BF, now DH, was in the same fraternity and two of them had just moved to our hometown), one of whom was my to be DH. We went on our first date the next day and he met my family that night (it was around Christmas and my mom hosted a huge party).
What is your favourite thing about him? That's a tough one, I love that he always mumbles "I love you too" when I tell him "I love you" right before going to bed, no matter how asleep he is. I also love his unexpected sappy side that causes him to do things like save our latest ultrasound picture to his background of his phone.
Are you finding out the sex of the baby? Yes, I think we have decided to try and have a mini reveal party between the two of us. We will try to get the results sealed in an envelope and have a bakery make us a cupcake with blue or pink icing and we will go out to dinner and open the box. There is a bit of debate over it though, because DH is worried it might be super obvious which sex it is and yet he definitely doesn't want to not be able to see the screen, so we will see how it goes.Do you like beans? If so, what kind?
What's your favorite color?
What's your favorite movie of all time?
Who is your favorite person in the world, besides BabyH and your husband?
Missing our little turkey.
Estimated Due Date 11/13/12 | Natural Miscarriage 4/17/12
Do you like beans? If so, what kind? I like beans. I like most kinds of beans. My favorite is probably soybeans
What's your favorite color? Purple
What's your favorite movie of all time? Yikes! Of all time, maybe What's Eating Gilbert Grape or Schindler's List. Cannibal: The Musical and Newsies also rank up there. I love movies in general so I tend to have a favorite movie in every category and they are all pretty much my favorite movies.
Who is your favorite person in the world, besides BabyH and your husband? My sisters C and J tie for that spot definitely. Favorite person I'm not related to and don't know personally would have to be Colleen Atwood, the costume designer for Alice in Wonderland, Sleepy Hollow, Memoirs of a Geisha, Big Fish, and Silence of the Lambs.
What made you decide to major in theatre?
What aspect of theatre did you study the most?
What shows have you been involved in?
What is your dream job?
What made you decide to major in theatre? I transferred to a new HS in a new state in the middle of my freshman year and the friends I made were very involved with the theatre program. I ended up working after school building sets with a woman who had gone to school with my dad in HS. She was amazing and really encouraged my interest in theatre and inspired me to go to school for scenic design (I ended up switching focus later in college to costume design).
What aspect of theatre did you study the most? I found a school that didn't require all theatre majors to take acting classes if they were design focuses (Technical Production Track). The first year you had to study all aspects of theatre tech from stage management to lightning design to costume design. Second year you pick 2 focuses which for me was Scenic and Costume design. My third/fourth year I just focused on Costumes.
What shows have you been involved in? At NYU: Bat Boy, Galileo, Parade, Wood: The Musical, Into the Woods, Black Terror, and Icarus of Ohio. At Central City Opera: Cendrillon, La Traviata, and The Saint of Bleecker Street. Film/TV: Watching TV with the Red Chinese, Against the Current, and Sesame Street.
What is your dream job? SAHM working with local theatres as a freelance costume designer.
