Repost from Pets Board - Leash training dog to run along side car?
I posted this on the Pets board but I know a lot of you have pits or are fans of pits and thought you might weigh in (not to mention just dog lovers in general).

Buuuuut I would first think; wow, what a lazy a-hole, its called a WALK for a reason. Then get a little worried when I see its a pit & the dude is driving around all sketchy. All those things = possible bad situation.
I saw a pit the other day "running away" it had like 30 ft of chain link tied around his neck. I called animal control, but the sucker ran quick. Hopefully they found him & his owner.
You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be misquoted and used against you. My Blog
We trained our lab to run with us on the bike because he needed way more exercise than a walk would give him and I don't run. He freaking LOVES his "bike rides".
But this seems a little extreme, dangerous and the whole situation sounds sketchy.
