Thank you, wal-mart fabric cutting gal.
I really appreciate that you gave me an extra two inches of Heat & Bond Light this morning. I know you think you were doing me a favor since it was a new bolt and the end was taped down. However, the tape was on the back, not the part that you actually use to fuse things together. In your attempt to be kind, you then folded the H&B over, sticking the tape to the good side, which I nearly destroyed trying to unstick. Thank goodness I didn't need it in a solid yard.
Re: Thanks Wal-Mart
I'm just cutting my first order of fabric that isn't solid Kona colors from fabric.com and I do have to say I'm not super impressed with them either- it is a good thing they give you at least 37" yards because their cuts take an inch or two away from the yardage with their crooked nature. This is particularly apparent on very busy prints that are linear- like open circle dots- which I lost almost 3 full rows of evening out last night.
The only people near me who know how to cut are my LQS. I've pretty much resigned myself to ordering an extra 1/4 yard.
Stand up for something you believe in.
I don't think I've ever bought fur... what's the correct way to cut it?
thanks for that tip!
