What'd you guys think of this episode? I didn't care for Sookie's "dream", but thought the baby/Mavis was pretty cool and finally explained that part. Go Jesus!!
Predictable about Jason and Jessica...poor Hoyt
Looks like exciting episodes remaining.
lol i loved this episode... i hate that i have to wait a whole week for the next episode but it looks like the next episode will be worth waiting for
DH and I were cracking up at LaFayette's comment "You're welcome, biitch."
I'm sooooooo sick of the witch storyline.

I was pleasantly surprised with how the Lafayette storyline went down, especially considering I wasn't a huge fan of that side-plot.
Can't wait for Debbie Pelt to go nuts!
Tommy Mickens is always getting himself into trouble. You would think the boy would learn!
Wooohooooo for naked Alcide. He's got the best butt in the whole cast! (sorry Eric)

So true!
I'm glad the Lafayette story line is over, but I agree that it did turn out nicely in the end.
Jessica sobbing over her boy troubles to Nan was HILARIOUS. Loved it. Not sure what the next step with her and Jason will be though...I feel bad for Hoyt.
Overall I was pretty amused with this episode, minus Tommy's shenanigans. What was he thinking when he went there anyway? I know his character is supposed to be dumb, but that was beyond stupid.
Can't believe there are only 3 episodes left!
best part of the episode by far!
tho i will say that i was glad to see "old eric" in sookie's dream. he was looking so put together and confident, it made me miss that eric and hate this season's pussified version so much more.
i was also a little disappointed in the lafayette/mavis storyline. i mean, i thought it was interesting and all, but i guess i was just expecting more of a tie in with one of the cast or something.
I agree with PP, the Lafayette storyline was so random and too far detached from any other plot line. I didn't like it.
I think Tommy went there to try to re-direct the pack's anger to himself to protect Sam. I know he's a fcuk up, but I do think he tries hard to be nice (and then gets carried away and acts without thinking).
I agree it was a great episode.
I too was happy with the way the Lafayette story line ended. I thought they would have dragged it out more as they typically do but glad it ended well.
Tommy deserved that arse kickin' he got.
Yay for Debbie helping Sookie. Can't wait to see how this Antonia thing ends.
So tired of the whimpy Eric and ready for the obnoxious Eric to return.
I'm almost positive that they are going to tie this back into the witches..and I can predict how they are going to do it too. Would you like me to tell?
And I agree that Tommy was trying to deflect the anger onto himself. He's a self-loather..he ONLY has Sam now--why else come back to say bye to Sam and try one more time?
I sorta/kinda like the pack master--it's like he's good and bad...he's a good pack master, but get a grip dude.
Also, I like Luna. I think she is gorgeous--and they did a good job picking her as the actress..she's never annoying to me. I give her a thumbs up. As a character she's good for Sam too I think. Shifter, family of shifters...it's what he needs. You know it's going to go bad.
Sookie and her fantasies...1) I also was glad to see normal Eric back..so much hotter. I swear that Alan Ball is punishing the fans "ohhh you want to see Sookie and Eric together? Fine. I will make him the biggest pvss on Earth." 2) What is the deal with Sookie's body. They dress her a certain way so you think she's all soft and curvy and then she whips off her clothes and nope, she has the hottest body ever. It kinda freaks me out.
I loved the storyline of Mavis--just because it was such a clusterfugazi. You had Andy all hyped on V, Hoyt with no pants, Lafayette/Mavis, Jesus "He's only a nurse," Jason, Terry and Arlene...it was classic Bon Temps.
Overall a good episode...I'm always feeling like, "I can't wait for next week!" I get done with the episodes and I just am really ready for the next one.
Do Tell!
I lost it at this point - it was so funny and just so...LaFayette. Although I'm glad they wrapped up that story line, it was a little anti-climactic for me.
I'm a little bored with the witch story line, too. I feel like this season (unlike the last few) is losing momentum going into the finale in a few weeks. Rather than waiting on the edge of my seat waiting for next Sunday I'm just "Oh yea, I almost forgot that True Blood is on tonight."
I totally agree. Whenever they show Eric from the side he's so dang skinny! And then when you think the camera adds 10 lbs I can't imagine. Alcide however, dang he is good looking. I think they pretty much use any excuse for him to be naked. which is fine by me.
I'm not sure what if anything they will do with Mavis anymore--unless as someone pointed out last week that Mavis' child was also a Bellefleur and they will somehow investigate that business. I'm not sure the two stories are connected. They seriously don't seem to be.
But yes, what I *think* is that they will somehow pit up LaFayette and Jesus against Marny. Obviously now Jesus knows how to de-possess people. He knew the magic and did it successfully. He's a powerful Brujo. What remains to be seen is how LaFayette will be used as the medium. Will HE take in Antonia and then Jesus get rid of her? Will he call on Mavis? (ohhh I just thought of that--poltergeist battle!?) I haven't worked that out yet..but something.
At first I thought it was going to be Tara and Antonia V. Jesus and LaFayette..but now I think Tara will join Jesus and LaFayette..and survive.
I also took it to mean Mikey is not evil like Arlene thinks. I assume Mavis wrote "Baby Not Yours" on the wall, meaning the baby was hers. I wonder if Holly's abortion spell backfired and instead brought Mavis around.
I was *hoping* she was going to be some voodoo priestess that Lafayette would channel and fight Antonia. Because I don't know who the heck Lafayette can "be" to defeat Antonia... The theory of him channeling Antonia and Jesus banishing her seems the most likely.
Oh and my favorite moment of the episode was Terry telling Lafayette "It's ok Lafayette, we still love you. These things happen." haha I love Terry.
Ohhh..good points Extravaganza
.
I love Terry too. In the books they make him seem kinda pathetic and washed out from fighting in- (Wait for it) Vietnam. I like him SOO much more in the show. Plus he was totally on Gilmore Girls as Zack, Lane's husband.
I don't think she was helping her out of the kindness of her heart. I think she would have been more than happy had the witches torn Sookie to bits. I hate Debbie, and I can't wait til she gets hers.
And I find it hilarious that Sookie constantly needs to be reminded to use her powers, whether it be telepathy or zapping people. If I was her, I'd be zapping people into next week.
