Help me pick some fabrics?

Our bedroom really needs an update. I've been putting it off since we've been so busy getting ready for baby, but I'd like to at least get started on some fabric ideas. I need to sew a curtain for our closet and another for our window (next to the bed), as well as a duvet cover for the bed. With the window directly next to the bed, I'm thinking using the same fabric will look too matchy-matchy. Wall colors are light blue, furniture is dark wood. I like bright colors and modern prints, but I want the overall feel to be calming. And not too spendy! Any ideas?

It comes in various colors too if you want something that pops more..not sure if chevron is your thing, but it's pretty modern. :-)

Those are neat! I am definitely in no rush, I'm still trying to finish up pre-baby projects. Today I'm re-caulking the tub ;-)
