I'm still undecided if I want to spend on a central vac unit or just get a dyson. Any thoughts?

Re: Central Vac or Dyson
We have a two-story home, and I hate dragging the Dyson up and down all the stairs. We will probably end up buying a second vaccuum. I would LOVE to have a central vac unit.

I LOVE my Dyson, love it.
I've never had a central vac though. Although pp point about moving is a good point.
Bio
I have both. I hate central vac. HATE. And ours is a nice unit. I've had one before and didn't like it then.
I love my Dyson.
BUT we have a one story house. It would be annoying to lug the Dyson up and down stairs.
One story house-Dyson
Two story- Central vac
we are going to build soon and I am thinking NO central vac. I think I will get the under cabinet kind in the kitchen for quick sweeping of crumbs...but then again, kids might think it is fun for it to suck up all kinds of things.
I have a Miele canister vac that I love and it is super light, so I am not against hauling up and down stairs. We have a Dyson too that I don't use.....it will probably stay on whatever floor has the most carpet and least dog hair.
