Happy Friday

I have been up since 5am watching Mad Men.  Ha ha ha.  What does everyone have going on this weekend?

I have a ton of family stuff going on.  I am most excited about my cousin coming over tomorrow to check out all my baby stuff!

Re: Happy Friday

  • You're too funny :)

So glad it's Friday.  I crashed early (for me) last night because I've just been running around like crazy and am just so tired.

MIL is visiting for the next week.  Our very nice neighbors invited us over for homemade Korean food tonight, which I'm very excited about.  Sunday night we're taking MIL out for a birthday dinner.  Other than that, no big plans; trying to figure out what MIL wants to do.

I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • Glad the weekend is finally here! Not much planned for the weekend. This weekend officially kicks off football for DH so he'll be gone at camp all day so I'm going to spending it cleaning and organizing...is it sad that I'm kinda excited about it?!

Probably hanging out with another couple tomorrow night but that's about it.

  • I'm working today (hopefully not all day though).  Not sure what we'll do tonight - maybe a dinner date.

Not much going on this weekend - stuff around the house probably.  I have to work Sunday starting late afternoon, so that sucks.

  • How far are you on Mad Men now, CDC? Enjoy the visit with your cousin!

We're renting a car for the weekend, so we had all kinds of fun things planned. But now I have to drive out to western MA tomorrow morning to deal with some bank stuff for my mom.  Sigh.  She's been bugging me about it for months, and I keep putting it off.  So we'll drive out there in the morning, probably have lunch, and then head back. I want to go shopping for a new suit (in case of a call back, but it's not like I couldn't use a new one anyway), so I'll probably drop H at home, then go to the mall myself.

Sunday, we were going to try and see The Help, but now that our errand Saturday is getting eaten up with a 4 hour trip, I have no idea what we'll actually do.

But tonight, I'm picking up the car after work and getting a mess from Comella's, which I am really excited about. Loooove Comella's.

I am on episode 12 from season 1.  I have seen them all though...DH and I watch Mad Men together.  I am just re-watching them all.  Ha ha ha.

  • I have my 36 week appt this afternoon and then I'm not sure what our plans are for this weekend. I was hoping to go to Maine but my DH is kind of burnt out from my family so he wants to stay home. I'm bummed but I think the weather isn't going to be that great so whatever... we have massive cleaning and organizing to do in our house!

PS- i got to work today, and outside my office door was a giant, dried booger. I'm so disgusted! I just found someone to clean it up...

I just said "Ew!" out loud in my office, haha.

And I've got one even worse.  WARNING: don't read if you're easily grossed out!  Once upon a time I worked in a really bad neighborhood of San Francisco.  I tried to enter from the back door to our office but there was a giant pile of human poo on the doorstep.

jeez, and I thought it was bad when (TMI) we used to find used condoms in our parking lot.

What the hell is wrong with people? *shudder*

  • This week flew by... not complaining! And I have a 4-day weekend! I'm spending the day with my sister tomorrow. Sunday we're going to my IL's house for a cookout. Monday is my birthday and I'm hoping H and I can get up to the beach if the weather cooperates. Then Tuesday we're just hanging out or maybe go to the beach if Monday doesn't work out.

    Anniversary
  • I am putting away some new baby things that he doesn't use anymore :( It is making me sad.

Tonight we have dinner with friends and their baby (who is DS's age). It should be fun and relaxing.

I have no idea about the rest of the weekend. I want to go to the beach but we have to buy a new tent first, so that will involve some running around on our part, neither of which I think we want to do after last weekend.

This happened to me too Rock.  It was the morning after I fired someone, and I am pretty sure it was him.  It was so disgusting.

Eeeeeeeww!!!  The only that could make that kind of situation worse is knowing who did it!  I don't know why, but that makes it so much more gross.  Ours was probably just some random homeless person because there were tons of them in that neighborhood.

    Eww, eww, eww!

  • Sounds like fun.

We have absolutely nothing planned, and I couldn't be happier. I'm getting a massage tomorrow (yay!) and DH is getting the cars inspected (big whoop). Sunday I'm checking out a new church and we'll likely just hang out and get stuff cleaned/organized. It's hard to believe it's only been a week since we got back from "vacation", and DH still has a ton to put away.

  • Today is our 5th Anniversary!  Unfortunately, we have been so busy with stuff for my family and then trying to get back into work that it kinda snuck up on us.  We never bothered to set up a babysitter to go out for our annual dinner and our place is not really a little kid friendly place.  Not really sure what we'll do to celebrate.  We may just hang out at home and go out later (the current weather is kind of a bummer anyway .. I was hoping we could at least go out for a nice walk when he got home but thats looking like a no go too.)

Saturday we are going to Fenway for "Futures at Fenway".  Theres a double header of minor league games.  We're going to take Lil for the first time and my sister, BIL, SIL, and nephew are going too. I'm hoping it will be a bunch of fun and significantly less crowded than a typical Sox game.

We had sushi last night. I ate a lot of it. I like the lightly cooked sushi, apparently.

  • Happy anniversary, Kiwi! (LATE!)

I'm still working through this bronchitis. Went to the beach house that MIL and FIL are renting in Falmouth for two weeks. spent saturday night and sunday there, and then headed to my joint birthday party with my dad...and ended the weekend getting no sleep because DH came down with a stomach bug...ugh :P

all your weekends sound fun! :)
