Share your housekeeper to-do list
We are going to hire someone to come in to clean every two weeks, and I want to make sure we have a good list of what we would like her to do. Any good lists out there?
Re: Share your housekeeper to-do list
I have a few houses I clean e/o week and here's what I do:
Bathrooms: scrub bathtubs/shower, toilets, and sinks, clean mirrors, sweep and mop.
Bedrooms: clean ceiling fans (made especially easy with the swiffer that extends), dust any furniture and clean any glass, vacuum. The houses I clean, I only make the beds. The wives like to do their laundry their way, and that includes the sheets.
Living Rooms: dust, clean glass, vacuum or swiffer wood floors, fluff the pillows and spray furniture with fabric refresher, ceiling fans.
Kitchen: dust any furniture, disinfect counter tops and table top, unload the dishwasher, sweep and mop.
I also use the swiffer to clean all of the blinds in the house and the baseboards. I think that's all.
People leave to do lists?
