Re: Weekend Recap
Tile and backsplash got finished! We were at home almost all weekend cuz we had to be there with them.
Glad to hear you found renters!
It was a low key weekend for us. Friday night we did yard work, exciting people we are. Saturday had a friend over for lunch and then messed with stuff around the house. Sunday we had a birthday party and then back home to relax.
Oh yay! I'm so happy for you!
We spent the weekend at my inlaws - it was ok, nothing really exciting.

yay for the renters!
I cleaned, watched many episodes of Dexter season 5 (spoil and I kill you), and ran a couple of errands... failed in attempts to find puzzle glue, and broke the belt on the vacuum.
How is it that my BABY is going to be 3?

Congrats on the renters!
We took a last minute trip to Charleston that coincided with DH's family from NY being in the area. Loved Charleston, but didn't get to do as much as I wanted due to family obligations instead. We're due for another trip up there before the end of the year for sure.
Another yay for renters!
We did mostly house stuff too. Got ceiling fans for the living room and bedroom, installed the one in the living room. Did who-knows-how-many loads of laundry, including going through everyone's clothes to trash some, and packing some kid clothes for the consignment shop. Vacuumed the whole house, deep cleaned both bathrooms, and cleaned up the kitchen. Also got my tomato plants transplanted (due to needing a termite treatment on the house), got some soil and seeds for Jeffery's planter box (we'll be doing that after he gets up from nap), and got most of the grass cut and a tree cut down. It was a super productive weekend!
Only things I really have left are to clear off our kitchen table area (our catch-all), and deal with the mess that is the office.
