Would this be strange? re: convertible crib
We will have 3 bedrooms in the house we are building. Right now we are BNOB while we build and are thinking maybe 2 more years before we TTC. Would it be strange to get a convertible crib for the guest room? I think they convert to a double (or is it a single and this is a moot point)? We don't have an extra bed currently.

I don't think it would be strange. I think some convert to a double but I am not sure. You probably also need to check weight limits as I am not sure if there is a weight limit or not.
Our crib converts and I know you have to buy special railings for it but they are not too expensive.
I don't think it would be strange!
One thing we've considered for the future/LO#2 is to have a more neutral nursery with a chair-and-a-half reading nook in the corner with a chair that folds out into a single bed. More sleeping space is never a bad thing!
