Someone to build concrete steps in MD?
I'm full of questions today. We have a brick house and a set of five steps leading to our front stoop. The steps are concrete with flagstone on top and through the years water/ice has seeped through and under. We've had it patched a few times but the concrete underneath is disintegrating so we think we need to replace the whole thing.
We've now contacted two people about this - never heard back from one and another came out to look, said he'd give an estimate, and never returned our calls after that.
Any recommendations for someone who will do this work well?
Thanks.

You could contact M&M Concrete Finishing. A coworker posted this to our internal classifieds. I've never had them do any work, but she's shown me pictures of her husband's projects thru the years we've worked together.

We just had our front stoop redone by Declan at East Coast Masons. He lives right up the street from us (so, not far from you) and has done a number of houses in our neighborhood - flagstone, concrete, etc.
I didn't compare him to other places, but his work is fantastic and he's an honest guy. (And he's Irish, which I'm sure you'll like.
) I'd call him because I think his email from his site doesn't work.
