I completely agree with the choice to give both Damien and Samuel 7 episode arcs in Season 3 of Glee. I loved them both for different reasons -- Damien because he was adorable and charming and let's face it, just the thought of Britney trying to figure out what he is saying makes me laugh -- and Samuel because he is hot *and* talented.
I also agree with giving Alex and Lindsey 2 episode roles. Lindsey annoyed the crap out of me, but there was no denying her talent and professionalism. Alex blew me away with that last performance and I am dying to see what they do with him.
I really enjoyed the show -- perhaps even more than I have been enjoying Glee lately.
Re: The Glee Project Finale (with BIG SPOILERS!)
I was hoping for some sort of surprise like that and was not disappointed. And I also was satisfied with their choices. Had Sam been the only winner I would have been happy but it's great that Damien won also. And I think in this competition, they probably were all sincerely happy for each other. I mean, really why did there have to be just ONE winner? Great finale. Can't wait to see them on the show. Season 2 underwhelmed me in a lot of ways... but maybe this will motivate me.

DH kept saying it was a cop-out, which I could kinda see. But if you were the producers/creators of Glee and were able to get this many talented new people that viewers are already connecting with, why on earth would you let them go?
I was so happy for Sam & Damian and liked the way it turned out.
I laughed so hard when Alex made his comment about showing his versatility, by being a boy or that he could put on a dress and be a girl. Um no... you could be a boy or you could be a boy in drag. Does anybody think he could actually pass for a girl when he puts on a dress and wig?
Totally agree with this comment. With so much talent on GP, they have a pool of people for this season and beyond. I would not be surprised if we see some of the non-finalists show up on Glee, especially the ones who were really popular with people watching GP.
I was so torn between Sam and Damien that I'm glad they both got it.
I was never a Lindsey fan. I think she thinks too much of herself, but I get that is part of what could make her a star.
I like Alex and will be interested in what they do with him. I wouldn't mind seeing Hannah surface at some point.
I totally agree. I loved her and was shocked when they eliminated her. Plus, her crush on Damian was beyond adorable.
We actually thought he was more convincing and seemed more genuine when he was dressed as a woman (singing Effie's song from Dreamgirls).
I am glad that they are all getting some time on the show, and I really hope that Hannah gets to be on the show too.
I completely agree that he seemed more genuine when in drag, but I thought he looked like a boy in drag.
Alex has said that he's only come out to one person, his mom?
I am guessing people know but he hasn't made it "official" to friends/family... because if he is so comfortable dressed in drag, you'd think he's done it before, no?
