Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Job Update
I posted a couple of weeks ago about a music position open at another school and asked if you ladies thought I should apply for it. I did end up applying for it and not getting it. However the person that did get it left another music position open that I also applied for so I applied for that one then. I just found out I did not get that one either.
Yesterday I got a phone call from the lady I student taught with and she tells me there is a music position open at her school and that I should call our boss to find out if I can get the job. So I called the big boss of all the fine arts in our corporation and she tells me that they are interviewing someone from outside the corporation today and that they get first pick (a little annoying since I already work in the corporation!). She told me to e-mail her today to find out if they decide to hire her. If they do end of story. If they don't there is a slight chance that I may be able to get the job, but Human Resources may not let me take it because I did not fill out a job preference form (although how am I supposed to fill out some form I do not know anything about if I don't know a position will be open!). My boss says the chances of getting it are slim. I am a little annoyed.
On a side note my boss just found out yesterday while talking to her that I do not have a classroom. She had no idea and I think we are the only building in the CORPORATION that has music and art on a cart.
Oh well....maybe next year I will get a classroom....

sheesh - thats a little discouraging huh?! sorry things didnt work out with the other job...but hey, maybe you'll get this other one huh...even if it is a slim chance : )
