Hey ladies! I hope you had a great weekend! Ours was fun and we accomplished a lot! I did eat a TON of food, though and I'm feeling the sluggishness today.
All our kiddos go back to school today and I am so excited for them!
I'm going for a new position at work - an admin to our district. I would work right under our DM and oversee all operations of our district and fill in for the directors who are out, sick, havin' a baby ect. Prayers that I get this job..it would be a GREAT career move.
Re: IT'S Monday
Ooooh good luck on the new position! Hope you get it!
We had a good weekend. It was pretty low key, went out to brunch on Saturday then hung out with some friends Sat night. Sunday we didn't really do anything. I did a lot of baking (bread, angel food cake) and we did some cleaning. Good weekend!

Good luck with the new job!
I had a fun weekend. Went up to my uncles golf course and saw my little cousin who is 2 and a half, and ADORABLE. I will be perfectly honest, I caught myself several times saying "I wannnnttt oonnnneee". My mom even said for the first time that she wanted me to have one so she can have a grandkid to spoil. Eek. We shall see...still 2 1/2 weeks late on AF with BFNs so who knows.
Yesterday I was a total bum. Watched Big Brother live feeds while I did some scrapbooking and organizing. This should be a pretty dull week at work, with my main client out as well as the owner of the company and one of the girls I work with. I didn't see DH all weekend because he was working, and he won't be home until sometime tomorrow. He got out of work so late that he is just staying in a hotel there so he doesn't have to drive an hour home and an hour back on 2 hours of sleep.
@Barb: Sending lots of vibes your way that you get the job! Let's hope the A10 lucky streak continues!
My weekend was pretty good. It was my most productive in over a month! I did a few loads of laundry, cleaned the entire house, garage, and my car on Saturday. Sunday, I was a little more sluggish and laid around for a good portion of the day but still managed to do a few loads of laundry, wash a butt load of dishes, sew a little, and rake some rock off of our lawn. Let's hope my productiveness continues!

Good luck with the job!!
My weekend was pretty good...Friday night I ran some errands, got a Redbox and hung out at home (DH was at a bach party and ex-MOH cancelled on me....shocker). Saturday DH & I slept in until 10....we never do that! I cleaned, went to the pool and then went to dinner with my parents for my dad's birthday. They came back to our place for dessert. Sunday we went for breakfast and grocery shopping, then I just relaxed the rest of the day! It was too yucky out for the pool, so I watched tv and ate a TON (ugh! I don't know what my deal was....but I'm hoping it means I'm PMSing and AF is coming! It's been a month since my last one!).

April Nesties March siggy challenge: Next Vacation, Anguilla!!
I had a pretty nice weekend, the shore trip that SS didn't want to go on was just for the day Saturday so we spent Friday evening chilling. Saturday I weeded and we made a belgian white beer for me, played some Super Mario Bros with SS on Wii, then went to a friends sitting outside by their fire pit with beer and snacks.
Sunday we took it easy, I finished my weeding area!! It raine/ stormed off and on all day. It was a cozy day with DH and I wished the weekend would have kept going.
This week is going to be quiet so I have some projects I'll be working on. Feel free to entertain me here too though :-)
April 2010 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination
My weekend was way too short.
Friday night I ran a few errands after work and chilled at home.
Saturday I got my hair done and did my groccery shopping early. Then my sister came over & we went to a huge craft fair. We didn't stay long though cuz it was hot. That night DH and I just ordered pizza for dinner and relaxed.
Sunday I went to church where we got married and saw a lot of people that I truly miss. Then had lunch with my BFF and her boyfriend. I had a bridal shower in the afternoon and then drove home again. I was so full from lunch & the shower that I didn't even cook dinner, so I just relaxed and watched Big Brother.
I had a nice weekend. I worked Saturday morning, as usual. Then it was just so nice outside that I spent most of the day outside with the hubby. He was cleaning the garage, wanted to rearrange a few things. I worked a few holiday projects. Once my shrubs and flowers were shaded enough, I gave them a much needed trim. (I usually trim them twice in the summer, but this is the only trim they are getting this summer).
Sunday DH went to a car show. I stayed home to get some stuff done around the house... vacuum, shampoo the carpet downstairs and spot clean areas where the dogs had peed (Of course my Haley had to pee right after I got done doing the carpet!), started organizing my new storage in the laundry room, reorganized my dresser drawers.
Good luck, Barb! You can have all my job vibes
Our weekend was busy busy busy! Friday night we went over to Miami for the Dolphins game. It was so fun but we got home really late and I was exhausted. Saturday we went to our friend's kid's bday party, and then to another friends house for cocktails. Sunday just ran errands, hung out at the pool, and went to a new taco place where I ate the best taco ever. Literally.
Today I'm trying to stay focused and get organized at work so someone can take over my files, yay!
Barb, good luck on the job and congrats on AF!!! : )
We had a great weekend. Friday night I cooked a fabulous dinner for Jeff and I (crab cakes, pan seared filet mignon, grilled asparagus and home-made cheesecake). Then we watched Ringo. It was really good, and I can't believe Nickelodeon made that!
Saturday I got up and slowly worked my way to getting ready and headed up to help my BFF Chesly set up for her sister's birthday party. It was really just an excuse to party more than anything. It was a lot of fun with great food and drinks.
Sunday we slept it til 10:30, which I can NEVER do! Then, as we were waking up I asked Jeff if we could go get lunch at that diner that catered our wedding (the BEST food), and I was shocked when he was right on it. Yay! Chelsy and her sister met us for lunch. Then we just came home, and I watched the Lions game since it had recorded that morning while Jeff napped, then we mowed, and I watched Black Swan (again!).
Best of luck, Barb!!!
Our weekend was also WAY too short! I volunteered at the Brides against breast cancer gown sale on Saturday! It was a blast! At the beginning it was slow, so I was trying on dresses for the news people, oh man it was fun
We sold so many dresses and raised so much money for terminal breast cancer patients, it felt great!
We also saw Mary Poppins the musical - it was so cute. I was sitting next to a very eager little boy that was singing all of the songs and had the most adorable commentary! Loved it!

Good luck Barb!
I enjoyed our low-key weekend. We stayed in every night, but during the day I helped our NDN's out quite a bit with their yard sale since I took over a ton of my chit to try & sell off. Ended up walking away with just under $90.
Watched the Lions win their 2nd pre-season game Friday in our other NDN's garage....now only if they can do this in the regular season!!!
It's 6 months today since my dad passed and it feels like he's been gone for a million years. I started off with a rough day this morning, but a hug from my hubby and pictures of my friends' cute babies always bring me out of it.
@Barb - good luck!
@ Cindy - big hug for you!!
Whew, what a busy day. I didn't have a minute today to catch up with you girls, work was insane and when I came home, hubby said "you look a little worn out" LOL oh is it that obvious?
Anyway, I had a nice weekend too! Friday I spent in my old neighborhood. I had lunch with a friend, went to my old nail salon (still the best, and cheapest pedi ever) and hung out with my mom. Saturday I spent doing a few things around the house and some errands. At night, after dinner, hubby and I went out for ice cream and went walking at the beach. Such a nice date night
Sunday, was a family bday party!
I am off again this Friday, so I'm hoping for a nice, quick week
