I kind of wish....
That there was more than just a Cape Cod-Ma or Boston-Ma board. Because honestly I'm about 2hrs away from the cape, and a good hour and a half from Boston.
TN totally needs to make a Northampton/Springfield board so I don't feel so alone out here...on the west side of the state. It would probably also help if I was more adventurous and went out to meet new people.
As happy as I am that I moved away from where I grew up, it kind of sucks not knowing anyone. I should probably get into some sort of hobby.

This is the NOLA board too. The Knot board was jumpin' but I guess no one ever transfers over. I'm surprised this board doesn't have more people on it because the Oct 10 TK board had a TON of people on it.
I feel like the boston board is fairly active. I always just feel weird jumping in over there since I'm really not that close.
On a side note, I think most of the boards are slow this time of year. Summer is always so busy.
Do it! The ladies (& gent) over there are really nice. And a lot of them aren't in Boston proper themselves, though I don't think any of them are as far west as you. Some out towards Worcester, I think. But they don't care- they love new posters, and are really welcoming.
The Indiana board is very boring and it is for all of Indiana. I tried saying hello and introducing myself and it took over a month before I actually got a response. I barely venture over there.
On a side note for Dyork-I go up every summer to the Springfield/Northampton area to visit DH's family. Next time I go up we should try to get together sometime
