Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

kinda bummed...
so we're hiring for my position. i've been told that i'll be part of the hiring process.. and i have been so far..
but they called 2 girls back today, one that i really like, and i was supposed to be in there but when they came out to get her (they were running late) they didn't ask me to come back...
they told me it was really important that i thought she was a good fit because i'll be her boss and we'll be working really closely until she gets a hang of things... but i'll still be managing this department.
i don't know why i'm bummed, but sometimes, certain people pick employees and they don't end up working out... this time they wanted it to be different.. but the WRONG person is with the first girl right now. and i'm freaked out. she is the one i'm rooting for.
we're having twins!

i talked to hr. she said that when the person who was supposed to interview with me mentioned that he had interviews and this guy said he'll do it.
unfortunately, the people this particular person has hired in the past lasted about 1.3 seconds...
i'm just worried because the person we love had a call back and he only talked to her for about 15 mins... which isn't normal for him.
I'm still confused how you got cut out of this equation, but these new hires are reporting to you...
i was trying to be discreet and not say anything more, just incase people i work with stalk but i'm over it.
the owner of the company caught wind of the 2nd interviews today and decided that he needed to be the one to make a decision... so i got cut out. no one says anything to him because he owns the company but is trying to phase himself out with the other guy that i was going to be doing interviews with..
i guess this is one of the downfalls of working for a smaller/family type companies...
