I know theres sites I can pay to help me with my resume, but I put one together on my own first. Was wondering if theres anyone with helpful tips or would be willing to critique mine?
TIA!

Depending on what industry you are looking at I may be able to help! Feel free to send over to Janine.Covello at gmail.com.
A few helpful hints that I always try to encourage-
1. Try to tailor your resume to address the relevant experience you have with respect to the job position
(If you are applying for a marketing job try to focus on the marketing related taks you've done at past companies etc..)
2. Be descriptive in your bullet points! I will almost always through away a resume if the candidate is not descriptive- it makes it look like you rushed through the resume and didn't spend the time and attention to reflect on the experience you have!
3. Stay consistent in the verb tenses you choose to use- when you start off the bullet point especially make sure it is all gramatically correct
4. Always write a cover letter when possible. This gives your job applying experience some personal flair and gives you an opportunity to show the individual screening you a little bit about the person behind the resume!
because it violates the Nest's TOS.
