2. Will baby sleep in your room at first? If so, what do you plan to use for it's bed? Yes, we are going to use the FP Rock&Play sleepers again.

So, if we don't move before the babies come (doubtful) then they will either be in our room until we do or possible share with Nolan at some point. Yikes.

This little guy is growing like a weed - I'm not sure if he got the memo that he has 13 more weeks to grow, so he can SLOW HIS ROLL!!

Yes, we have a cradle that will go in our room so it's easier to keep an eye on him and for me to nurse on demand as well.

We did not have a theme for Jack, and this new baby is basically taking over the nursery as is.

No DIY, but we did paint a checkerboard on one wall of the nursery before Jack was born. Our plan was to change a few of the square colors if this baby was a girl, but since it's a boy, we will leave it as is. (picture is a little grainy b/c it was taken with my iPhone and the room was actually pitch black. I was taking a picture of Jack sleeping in his big boy bed for the first time!)
This week's theme - The Baby's Room

30 weeks today! Changes in symptoms....yea. Things are getting more uncomfortable. Sunday and Monday I was in some horrible pain in my neck and chest (not really baby related at all) and it was just about unbearable. Monday was the worst, yesterday was a bit better, and today was also a bit better. I go to the OB on Thursday and I'll discuss it then, but if it starts up again I'll call before my appointment. Also, now I'm always really congested when I wake up in the morning.
2. Will baby sleep in your room at first? If so, what do you plan to use for it's bed?
She will be in our room for a little while, probably until she is sleeping longer stretches than at the beginning. She'll sleep either in the PNP or in a bassinet next to my side of the bed (only side with room for it). That's what the plan is for now, but I know it may or may not change.
3. Do you have a nursery theme chosen? If not, any ideas yet? If you're further along, any pics to share?
I don't really think I have a real theme. It's lots of different colors, girly, whatever. So hopefully it comes tog.!

Not yet, unless you consider putting a picture into a frame to be DIY! I feel like I have some good ideas, but I'm not very crafty and not able to put those ideas into something that looks good.

Today I'm hoping to get out and get some things done for her room: drawer liners, under crib storage, and blackout curtains and hardware. I also need to find a rug, bookcase, and lamp (which won't all happen today).

I had H inflate the exercise ball because at night I get so uncomfortable, sitting on the ball is the only way to relieve the back pain. It was like that last time too. Other than that, I'm feeling pretty good

She'll start off in our room. She will be sharing a room with Alex, so we need her to sleep for a while, and to find out if Alex can sleep through her. I'm praying for no sleep issues with this one, but who knows, she's already just as active as Alex was.
We'll set up the PnP bassinet part, and see how that goes. If not, we'll get the RnP. Hopefully we don't end up with her in our bed again, but whatever works. SIL gave us her bassinet to use with Alex and it has been sitting in the basement since. It looks like a coffin, way too creepy for me to put a baby in.

No theme. This is Alex's room
It has since been rearranged and is now full of toys (this is before she was born). I would like to change the room from "Alex's" to "the girls'" and really like this
With bright raspberry color black out curtains and a different rug between the beds. We'll see if my want to do this outweighs my want to not paint anything this time around. With Alex we had just moved, so I was painting every room in the house including ceilings, until about a week before delivery.

I'm not sure if I'll get to it though. I've been a slacker lately when it comes to finishing projects.

I just drank my stuff for my glucose test. As soon as I'm done posting this Marshall and I are headed out to get my blood drawn. I REALLY hope that I pass this time (with Marshall I failed the 1-hour and had to take the 3-hour, which I then passed with flying colors). I can't imagine having to do the 3-hour one with Marshall in tow.

The plan is for the baby to go straight into the nursery like Marshall did. The tricky part of this scenario is that Marshall is still going to be in the nursery! If that doesn't work out right away we'll put the pack n' play in our room for a while. But eventually the kids will be sharing a room.

No specific theme. The nursery is pretty much staying just like it was/is for Marshall, we're just adding another crib into the room.

Jill...I LOVE that canvas! I may have to attempt that! Other than that I don't have anything planned. For Marshall I made his crib skirt and I will be re-using that for this baby. It's not on Marshall's crib any longer because with the mattress all the way down the skirt is way too long.

Hoping he will come soon because my induction is scheduled. I go in on Labor Day (how appropriate) for cervidil, and then will be induced with pitocin by my least favorite doctor in the practice on Tuesday, Sept. 6.

Still sick. 10 weeks, 1 day today. Have a bulge in my belly that I assume is bloat and all the food I cram down my throat every time the nausea wanes.

Haven't thought too far ahead. I've collected monkeys since I was a kid though, so I always planned on some kind of subtle monkey theme that's gender neutral.

And everything looks healthy & right on track. Started with some heartburn last week.... ugh, I forgot how obnoxious it is!

Baby will be in our room in a mini PnP (Graco Travel Lite) at least until I'm some-what recovered from surgery and can get out of bed w/out pain. DH wants baby in our room only for about a week and then she'll have to sleep in her own room. I disagree, but I told him he can buy me a nice monitor maybe with video then I might be ok with moving her to her room sooner.

I am kind of bored with those two colors now so I think I am also going to add in purple. No pictures yet because the nursery is still an office and needs to be cleaned out. DH just submitted the final version of his dissertation last week so he's officially done with school and is getting kicked out of the office.
4. Are you planning any DIY crafts for the nursery? Share! I am DIYing pretty much everything. So far I've made the crib skirt, sheet and changing pad cover. I have fabric for curtains and other things that still need to be made. I'm going to paint Kodi's old crib and changing table. I have lots of other ideas that I need to start working on soon.
