Crafty ladies....best place for fabric
Now that we know #2 is a boy I want to get started on E's big boy room (we are leaving the nursery as is). I want to have MIL, my mom or someone make a quilt for him. What is the best place for fun, striped fabric? Online or local is fine. I'm looking for something modern....not old lady-ish.
TIA!

Re: Crafty ladies....best place for fabric
I second Cosmic Cow in Lincoln. They have some really cool/modern fabric. It's really hit or miss everywhere, IMO though. I went to every fabric store I could find when I was looking for A's bedding and ended up finding it at the Calico house in Lincoln...

First off, Joann's coupons are always off total, I have never seen "per yard"
And I would try Country Sampler for some modern prints. Go in and head to your right, behind the checkout. Lots of Michael Miller, etc. They are expensive though (like 9.99/yd) and don't ever have coupons
