My mom bought us 3 boxes of the Medela pump & save bags (4 oz) before B was born. I put them in the closet, and TOTALLY forgot about them - and started using the Lanisoh bags. My sister found the Medela bags in the closet, and I've been using them for a week, but now I need to start doing 6 oz bags (by the time he gets through all the 4 oz bags, he'll be ready for 6 oz).
So, does anybody want to trade Medela for a brand that holds 6 oz? I have somewhere between 100 and 150 - the one box is open. I can't return them to Amazon - my sister threw the stuff away.
Or if you don't want to trade, do you want to buy them? The Medela bags on Amazon are about $15, but I'll do the 2 full boxes for $10 each and the 1/2 box for $5 -- that way I can still get about the same number of bags from another brand. :-)
Re: Wanna trade BM bags?
Two suggestions...Not sure if you could actually put 6 oz in one of the bags or not since there is usually extra room. I'm sure it's not recommended but if it fits and freezes fine you could give it a try. (are you freezing them flat?)
What about using them with only putting 3 oz in each bag instead? I know you would be using them twice as fast and have to get 2 bags at a time but if no one wants to buy them and you end up keeping them, you might as well use them up.
Try listing them on CL for sale if nothing else. Or, does BRU or walmart sell them? maybe you could return/exchange them.
