As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

weird facebook quirk
when you get friend requests that you're unsure about accepting, do you click to reject them, or do you leave them unanswered? I'll do either, depending on how I'm feeling that day. Right now I have 9 pending requests that I haven't answered either way - mostly people from high school who I don't even recognize their names.
Anyway, I've had a few requests I've sent that weren't answered by the person. (When I go to their page, it says Friend Request Sent.) No big deal. But what's weird is that some of these people show up in my news feed on a regular basis now.
I guess I need to clear out my pending requests cause Facebook could still be putting me in their news feed even if I haven't accepted the request. seems kind of weird to me.

If I don't know the person, I reject. If I know them and just don't want to accept them, I leave them unanswered. They've never shown up in my news feed though.
Yeah, those people haven't shown up in my news feed either. What I'm saying is you might be showing up in their news feed, even if you haven't accepted them.
The people in my news feed are ones I sent a friend request to and they haven't answered it.
