Interview Question
What would you think if during the interview, the guy says that you seem like a sound candidate for the job?
a.) Yeah, I did a good job!
b.) I am a pretty good candidate but he is probably looking for something else but he might hire me if he cant find anybody else.
c.) He wanted to be polite.
d.) He likes my CV but doesnt want to say a lot until he talks to the other people in the office.
e.) Special Snowflake
Re: Interview Question
I would have asked a clarifying question after s/he said that, along the lines of: 'That's great to hear. This position seems like a good match with my skill set, personality, etc. Have you got any hesitations about hiring me?'
Then you don't have to wonder.
A & D+ (talks to others & finishes interviews) with a hint of c, but mostly A!

Thanks! I know I wont get the job because they are looking for someone to fill the position ASAP but he told me to contact him later next month to see if they still need somebody. I just thought it was a strange comment.
