As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Job search Question

There is a job that i really want to apply for -- I am perfect for it, it's perfect for me -- but it is listed as internal only.

Is it a "no-no" to apply?

In addition to posting it on their website it is also posted it on craigslist.  Does this change anything?

I was thinking of doing so, but indicating in my cover letter that i know it's an internal position, but would like to be kept on file (or something along those lines).

    i would ignore it in the cover letter and just go for it...........if it's internal only, they shouldn't be posting via craigslist. at least that's IMO.

    Call and ask why it's listed on Craigslist it it's internal. It looks like they forgot to look at the details before they posted it.

    I had already called, but unfortunately the HR person is out of the office this week.  I'm wondering if maybe they left it for someone else to do and that person goofed.  I'll just note that i found it on CL and then there will be rainbows.
