So after having a terrible experience in house hunting, DH and I FINALLY find a house we love AND the offer is accepted by the seller. YAY, right?!?
Wellllllll, we might not get the house now...the seller's name came up on some list for medicare or medicade fraud. The seller says that this can't be true because apparently 10 years ago she was a nurse and decided to go prescription drug happy and lost her nurses license and got 2 years probation for it. There are no liens on the house, so that's a good thing, but seller has contacted a lawyer to get this all (hopefully) sorted out. Any thoughts and/or prayers sent our way would be greatly appreciated; DH and I are so ready for this whole house hunting experience!
