Crazy! So glad we didn't have kids at school today! We start tomorrow. We had a broken mug and some stuff on the floor at our apartment. I had felt a few smaller ones years ago but we NEVER have them like this. Did anyone else feel it? We're less than 50 miles away from the epicenter.

Re: We had a 5.8 earthquake
I didn't feel them but again I am in Tennessee. I texted my brother who lives in NYC and he didn't feel it where he was. Crazy how some felt it and others didn't.
I've never been in an earthquake and don't think I want to. Glad everything is okay.

Just spoke to bf who was at the Museum of the American Indian in DC when it happened and she said they didn't know what had happened, they thought it was a bomb at first because no one could get Internet access to figure out what happened. She said it take 5 hours to get home and she lives 20 min out the city.
Crazy... I've still never felt an earthquake and I live in CA!
