if you have an ereader.......

do you get your books from the library?  If so how does that work?  I have been resisting getting an ereader or using dh's nook.  However, I have been sans book for 3 days pending my getting to the library.  Can someone walk this old broad through this?

Re: if you have an ereader.......

  • I have a nook and get books from the library. You go to the library website (www.rcls.org) and click on digital downloads. You can download ebooks to your computer from there. Then you connect your nook to your computer with the USB cable and transfer the ebook to your nook. The library books last for 21 days and then expire. It's really easy.

  • Thank you so much for explaining how to do this!  I have the ipad so I was able to download the app and can't wait to use the library for ebooks!
  • Technically JSweetie is correct because Kindle doesn't accept whatever format the document is the book comes from the library but there is a way to convert the documents so it will buttttt that seems like too much work at least it is for me!
